Our Volunteer Committees

The comms committee supports creating content for our public communications and campaigns. New volunteers receive basic training and get started with tasks such as making graphics, memes, or taking pictures/videos at events. Leaders facilitate workshops and support our incubating organizations to develop press releases, messaging, and content strategies for grassroots campaigns.

The research committee supports obtaining information that our incubating organizations need for pressure campaigns and general operations. Are you good at finding information, mapping relationships, or looking into policy? Are you trying to learn? You should join! Because information can come in many shapes and forms, we are always looking for comrades from diverse walks of life!

We are starting a language justice committee to the capacity we need to support the non-English speaking leaders at our incubating organizations, to facilitate multilingual spaces, and to reach a wider segment of the working class. Are you bilingual in Spanish and English or another language? We need you!!

Grassroots campaigns require many feet on the ground and support networks and infrastructure that allow working-class people to fully engage and lead their fights. That’s what our campaign support committee is designed for!
